Journey 1 — Relationship with You

Your authentic self is waiting to be discovered.

Focusing on You

Individual Therapy

My approach to trauma therapy is holistic, integrating Internal Family Systems, Somatic Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based techniques to support your healing journey. Trauma affects both the mind and body, and through IFS, we explore the different parts of yourself that have been impacted, helping them to find balance and healing. Somatic Therapy allows us to reconnect with your body, releasing the physical manifestations of trauma and restoring a sense of safety. Mindfulness-Based Therapy brings these elements together, helping you to stay present and grounded, observing your thoughts and emotions with compassion and non-judgment. Together, these approaches create a comprehensive path to healing, allowing you to move forward with resilience and peace.

In my trauma therapy, I integrate Internal Family Systems, Somatic Therapy, and Mindfulness to address the multifaceted nature of trauma. By working with the mind, body, and spirit, we can uncover and heal the deep wounds of trauma, fostering resilience and a renewed sense of self.

I use Internal Family Systems to help clients understand and heal the different ‘parts’ of themselves that have been impacted by trauma. By gently exploring these parts, we can bring them into harmony, allowing for deeper self-understanding and integration.

Somatic Therapy is central to my approach to trauma. I guide clients in reconnecting with their bodies, helping them to notice and release tension and trauma that may be stored physically. This process not only alleviates physical symptoms but also promotes a deeper sense of peace and well-being. This approach involves body awareness techniques, breathwork, and other practices that help clients reconnect with their bodies, release stored trauma, and restore a sense of safety.

I also incorporate Mindfulness-Based Therapy into my trauma work, teaching clients how to stay grounded in the present moment. By practicing mindfulness, you can begin to observe your thoughts and emotions without being overwhelmed by them, creating the space needed for healing and growth.

Emotional Freedom Technique, or “EFT”, is evidence-based treatment of anxiety, pain, depression, and PTSD. In this process, we will use finger tapping on acupuncture points to release the emotional pain associated with traumatic memories. Compared to traditional treatment methods, EFT is able to release this emotional pain faster, more comprehensively, with less secondary trauma, AND with longer-lasting results.

I work closely with my clients to create a tailored approach that meets their unique needs. In our sessions, you’ll find a space where you can safely explore your emotions and experiences, knowing that you are supported and heard. My goal is to help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself, empowering you to navigate life’s challenges with greater resilience and self-compassion. In our sessions, I emphasize the importance of being present and mindful, allowing you to connect with your emotions in a non-judgmental way. This approach fosters self-awareness and promotes lasting change, enabling you to live a more balanced and fulfilling life. I invite you to connect with me to explore how we can work together towards your personal growth.
